Greg is a Senior Advisor with BDC Advisors, LLC. Greg has 26 years of direct experience as CEO of 6 hospitals which ranged in size from 201 to 1328 beds including the flagship facilities for both Hospital Corporation of America and American Medical International/Tenet and has been involved with the purchase and sale of hospitals and HMOs, the construction of over $2 Billion in hospital construction, the opening and closing of services and hospital facilities, the major conversion of IT systems, and the turn-around of the operations of multiple hospitals. Prior to joining BDC Advisors, Greg served at West Penn Allegheny Health System as the President and CEO of the 1328 bed academic medical center which is located on three campuses in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The facilities include Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), Suburban General Hospital (SGH) and the Western Pennsylvania Hospital (WPH). During his tenure, his organizational responsibility included operational responsibility for each of the facilities, daily interaction with two medical schools (Temple University and Drexel University) with 486 residents and fellows in 22 specialty areas, coordination with a 650 employed physician organization, 2700 physician medical staff, nursing school, the Star center, and approximately 80 outpatient settings. Greg previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Centura Health. Centura is the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in Colorado, including twelve acute care hospitals, eight senior service facilities, seven home care and hospice facilities, statewide laboratory service, 168 employed physicians, and 22 joint ventures representing $1.7 billion in net revenue and 14,500 associates. While at Centura, he directed operations, strategic planning, capital planning, acquisition, development, and construction activities for the system. Greg was instrumental in converting 12 hospitals to a Meditech IT operational platform, overseeing community and board relations, overseeing a $1 billion capital construction plan, and instituting a Leadership Institute for 800 managers to learn critical leadership skills.

Greg has served as Chief Operating Officer of Inova Health System in Falls Church, Virginia. Prior to joining Inova, Greg served as Senior Vice President, Operations – Southern States Region at Tenet Health System in Atlanta, Georgia.

Greg holds a Master in Business Administration degree from the University of Florida with a Certificate in Health and Hospital Administration. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, and he completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
