Mike is a Consultant with BDC Advisors, LLC. He offers clients four years of healthcare experience, including two years as a Consultant for the healthcare practice of an international consulting firm.

Prior to joining BDC Advisors, Mike worked as a Consultant for Navigant Consulting where he traveled across the United States supporting Health Systems in implementing Revenue Cycle improvements within Patient Access, Case Management, Health Information Management, and Patient Financial Services departments. His work with Navigant included development of tools to identify Patient Liability during the Point of Service, detailed analysis of Aged Trial Balances, Cash Acceleration and Denial Management initiatives, development of process and system training materials, and management of vendor performance.
Prior to joining Navigant Consulting, Mike had two separate internships with Partners Healthcare in Boston, MA. As a financial analyst intern for Massachusetts General Hospital, he worked alongside the CFO and Budget Director managing a 700 million dollar annual salary model, preparing monthly pre-trial and closing numbers, and identifying drivers for accounts trending above and below budget. As a financial analyst intern with Brigham and Women’s Revenue Operations, Mike was responsible for reporting on queued and rejected HMO bills in order to quantify their effects on the Hospital’s net revenue and cash flow.
