Prior to joining BDC Advisors Hana was Director of Accountable Care Organizations for Blue Shield of California. In this role she was responsible for all facets of the ACO program, including annual planning, product development and refinement, portfolio and project management, budgeting, savings tracking and reporting, and monitoring of Program initiatives to ensure successful execution of all initiatives in the Program portfolio.
Hana has also worked with Lawyers Liability Insurance Services, a lawyers’ marketing insurance firm spanning multiple areas including malpractice insurance. In her role as Vice President of Sales she led all activities related to sales, account renewals, and operational streamlining. She successfully developed and rolled out a process which reduced quoting and implementation time by more than 30% and sold more than $500,000 in new business while simultaneously retaining all existing accounts.
Previously Hana was Officer, Enterprise Business Solutions with Health Net where she directed the consolidation of 19 separate Project Management Offices (PMOs) into a single enterprise-wide office. Prior to that she was VP, Business Solutions where she achieved 28% productivity improvement by partnering the User Acceptance Testing department with IT staff. Hana has extensive experience with WellPoint, most recently as Staff VP, Sales Support. In this role she spearheaded all strategic projects including sales technology and reporting, client services, large-group quoting, multimedia production, and sales technology databases. She successfully reduced new case implementation time by 67% by expanding salesforce/customer relationship tools to electronically submit new standard cases into the home office. Hana began her career with WellPoint as Managing Account Consultant and later served as Director, Client Services and Sales Support.
Hana received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and completed the Executive Development Program at University of California, Berkeley.
