Dick grew up in Chicago and received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Illinois. He has over 25 years of experience as a senior level executive of healthcare delivery systems and healthcare consulting organizations, both domestically and internationally.

Dick was formerly President and CEO of Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego and also served for 5 years as Director of Hospitals for the Aga Khan Health Service, overseeing 10 hospitals in Central Asia and East Africa. Dick brings his BDC Advisors’ clients a vast knowledge and experience in hospital and delivery system operations, turnaround strategy development and implementation, network development, academic medical center program formation, and international healthcare delivery systems.

Dick is married with two children and three grandchildren, and enjoys golf and travel.
