BDC Advisors, a leading healthcare strategy consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Peter Attwater has joined the firm as a Managing Director. With more than 18 years of experience in healthcare strategy and M&A advisory, Peter has helped provider organizations navigate complex transactions, design integration strategies, and deliver transformative results.
Peter brings deep expertise in healthcare mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, and enterprise transformation. He has partnered with Academic Medical Centers, health systems, and physician groups to refine operating models, design IT and shared services infrastructure, and enable synergy capture across complex transactions. His experience advising executive leadership through due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and long-term performance improvement further strengthens BDC Advisors’ ability to help clients achieve sustainable growth.
As Managing Director, Peter will lead client engagements across M&A advisory, health system transformation, and payer-provider strategy. He will focus on guiding organizations through the full M&A lifecycle—from upfront strategic planning and diligence to Day 1 readiness, IT enablement, and long-term integration. His ability to partner with C-suite executives and boards to align strategy, operations, and technology will enhance BDC Advisors’ impact in helping healthcare organizations expand access, achieve efficiencies, and deliver sustainable performance improvements.
Before joining BDC Advisors, Peter spent more than a decade at Deloitte Consulting, where he served as a firm-wide expert on M&A for Academic Medical Centers and healthcare providers. In that role, he advised clients on large-scale acquisitions, integration strategies, and enterprise transformations designed to achieve sustainable growth.
