BDC Advisors is growing and looking to hire dynamic Consultants to join our firm. Consultants form a critical backbone of client engagement teams, providing the analytical horsepower and project support to form teams that provide exceptional results. Each project team is generally comprised of 3-6 members and includes considerable collaboration with firm leadership including Principals and Directors. BDC Strategy Consultants routinely gain exposure to senior client executives at leading health systems and academic medical centers across the country and are given the opportunity to develop key consulting skills and client relationships.
BDC Consultants are expected to:
Collaborate with the project team to work through the client’s critical issues and underlying causes
Develop and structure analytical approaches to provide actionable client insights
Manage complex data sets and perform quantitative analysis
Perform primary and secondary research
Support design and development of firm financial models
Create client communications including recommendations / synthesis of insights from analysis
Develop meaningful client relationships and communicate findings to all levels of management
Qualifications include:
Required:
2+ years of work experience; management consulting, investment banking / private equity, accounting, or equivalent analytic experience preferred
Strong interest in healthcare industry and strategy
Drive to find creative solutions to complex problems
Demonstrated success in analytical problem solving
Experience in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
Effective oral and written communication skills
A flexible and confident working style
Ability and desire to work as part of a team, collaborate with others, and learn new topic areas quickly
Willingness to travel as required for client projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Preferred
MBA, MHA, MPH, or other master’s degree in appropriate discipline
