BDC Advisors is growing and looking to hire dynamic Senior Consultants to join our firm. Senior Consultants play an important role in project teams, typically working on multiple projects at one time. Each project team generally includes 3-6 members and includes considerable collaboration with Principals and Directors. BDC Advisors provides Senior Consultants with significant exposure to senior client executives at leading health systems and academic medical centers across the country.
BDC Senior Consultants are expected to:
Define the client’s problem including critical issues and their causes
Independently develop and structure analytical approaches to provide actionable client insights
Manage complex data sets and perform quantitative analysis
Own and set standards for design and development of firm financial models
Perform advanced primary and secondary research
Own development of client communications including recommendations / synthesis of insights from analysis
Develop meaningful client relationships and communicate findings to all levels of management
Guide the day-to-day work and development of junior team members
Qualifications include:
Required:
4+ years of work experience; management consulting, investment banking / private equity, accounting, or equivalent analytic experience preferred
MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent work experience
Strong interest in healthcare industry and strategy
Drive to find creative solutions to complex problems
History of demonstrated success in analytical problem solving
Advanced expertise in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
Experience leading teams in analytical roles
Effective oral and written communication skills
A flexible and confident working style
Ability and desire to work as part of a team, collaborate with others, and learn new topic areas quickly
Willingness to travel as required for client projects
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
