BDC Advisors is growing and looking to hire dynamic Principals to join our firm. Principals are a part of the leadership team and play an integral role in engagement delivery, business generation and firm management. As Principals grow and mature within their role at the firm, they are expected to take on increasing responsibilities in terms of firm management and business generation leading to promotion to the Director position. Directors have lead responsibility for the success of the firm and have equity / ownership in the firm. Principals move to the Director position based on achievement of results and satisfaction of clients with no time requirement for progression.

Principals serve as day-to-day leadership of client engagements and manage the most complex BDC assignments. Principals routinely interact with the leading healthcare C-Suite executives and industry leaders. BDC Principals are expected to:

  • Lead consulting project teams and deliver superior results to our clients.

  • Guide and oversee analytical approaches to provide actionable client insights. Principals have lead responsibility for communicating conclusions and guiding discussion with client project teams.

  • Develop meaningful client relationships through superior client service while building a professional network.

  • Become a deep expert in selected content areas pertinent to our clients and be recognized as a thought leader by clients, BDC personnel, and the broader healthcare professional network.

  • Publish insights and points of view in widely recognized industry media forums.

  • Serve as the key individual responsible for development of the consulting staff.

  • Play an integral role in recruitment, development, and career progression of team members.

Qualifications Required

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible work experience; management consulting, health plan leadership, health system leadership in the strategy and/or managed care functions, or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated strength as a healthcare industry thought leader and strategic thinker.

  • Drive to deliver superior client service in a highly collaborative culture.

  • Able to develop creative solutions to the most complex issues of the health care provider and payer segments.

  • Demonstrated success in analytical problem solving and communication of findings and results to senior executives in an actionable manner.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills; demonstrated experience presenting ideas to senior executives and board members.

  • A flexible and confident working style.

  • Ability and build on our team orientation and function within a collaborative culture.

  • Willingness to travel as required for client projects. It is expected the recent movement to virtual client interaction will likely continue going forward and likely reduce traditional on-site travel requirements, though travel needs may vary.
