BDC Advisors is growing and looking to hire dynamic Managers to join our firm. Managers play an important role in project teams, typically working on multiple projects at one time. Each project team generally includes 3-6 members and includes considerable collaboration with Principals and Directors. BDC Advisors provides Managers with significant exposure to senior-level consulting professionals and client staff. BDC Managers are expected to:
Serve as project manager on client engagements through all phases on the consulting life cycle, and actively and effectively manage project work processes and deliverables
Define the client’s problem including critical issues and their causes
Develop and structure analytical approaches to provide actionable client insights
Manage complex data sets and perform quantitative analysis
Own and set standards for design and development of firm financial models
Own development of client communications including recommendations / synthesis of insights from analysis
Develop meaningful client relationships and communicate findings to all levels of management
Guide the day-to-day work and development of junior team members
Qualifications
Required
6+ years of work experience leading teams in analytical roles: management consulting, investment banking / private equity, accounting, or equivalent analytic experience preferred
MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent work experience
Strong interest in healthcare industry
Drive to find creative solutions to complex problems
Contemporary expertise in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
Experience leading teams in analytical roles
Effective oral and written communication skills
A flexible and confident working style
Ability and desire to work as part of a team, collaborate with others, and learn new topic areas quickly
Willingness to travel as required for client projects
Strong skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint
